Hiding In Plain Sight

September 22, 2015

What? It is my opinion that cyber security and biotech will be the most noteworthy growth sectors of the 21st century. That said, I want to share my analysis of three prime cyber security stocks: Palo Alto Networks (PANW), CyberArk Software (CYBR), and FireEye (FEYE). For reference, some other noteworthy cyber security firms include Fortinet (FTNT), Check Point Software (CHKP), Rapid7 (RPD), and Cisco Systems (CSCO).

Dear World, LinkedIn Is Not Facebook

September 8, 2015

People don't understand LinkedIn (LNKD). In fact, there's a fundamental disconnect between the networking platform's objectives and consumer expectations. In a world of purely rational individuals, LinkedIn clearly provides its members maximum utility (i.e. job offers). And while these offers differ, I can't think of an online platform that yields a better ROI for time spent online.

Facebook Files For Troubling Patent, Receives Regulatory Approval

September 3, 2015

For those in the "know," FinTech (or financial Technology) is arguably the most admired startup sector in America. Next to cyber security and SaaS platforms, FinTech firms are revolutionizing the investment process. Companies like Wealthfront and Robinhood allow middle and lower class Americans access to services that have long been reserved for Wall Street's elite.

How To Land Your Dream Job

April 15, 2015

Having trouble finding a job? Disappointed with the job you currently have? Feel like you’re destined to doing something else? Well LinkedIn (LNKD) is here to help. Last June, the company rolled out an iOS app specifically tailored to help disgruntled workers land their dream job. Almost a year later, LinkedIn has now released the app for Android users as an entirely redeveloped platform.

The Social Media Revolution

August 28, 2014

Over the last six years, companies like Facebook (FB) and Twitter (TWTR) have risen to the forefront of the social media revolution, along with their stock prices. These companies are praised for their seemingly limitless pools of innovation and young talent; yet, what most investors and analysts fail to recognize is that these companies would be seemingly irrelevant if not for the rise of mobile applications.

Stop Acting Like A Humin

August 21, 2014

Have you ever awoken from a night of partying, with a massive hangover, and a confused look, attempting to remember what happened? Well, if you've experienced this roller coaster ride, you probably know you're, sadly, destined to forget the prior night's shenanigans. This realization is often compounded when assessing your social media damage, only to be made worse by finding a random number in your phone.

The Opportunistic Employee

July 16, 2014

Finding a job in today’s economy can be difficult, to say the least (unless you’re a high school student). Most industries are far more competitive than they once were, and finding jobs at dream companies, like Google (GOOG) and Facebook (FB), is nearly impossible. In fact, more often than not, new college grads will cling to the first job offer they receive, which is often due to the lack of critical, public information.
