Hiding In Plain Sight

September 22, 2015

What? It is my opinion that cyber security and biotech will be the most noteworthy growth sectors of the 21st century. That said, I want to share my analysis of three prime cyber security stocks: Palo Alto Networks (PANW), CyberArk Software (CYBR), and FireEye (FEYE). For reference, some other noteworthy cyber security firms include Fortinet (FTNT), Check Point Software (CHKP), Rapid7 (RPD), and Cisco Systems (CSCO).

"T" Stands For Twitter

August 18, 2015

Every Silicon Valley techie knows that Google (GOOGL) Co-Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin created a holding company, named "Alphabet," to oversee Google's many growing business lines (many of which don't align with Google's core operations). Twitter Never Fails To Fail

August 9, 2015

For those familiar with Bethany McLean's The Smartest Guys In The Room, the forthcoming comparison will make sense; for those unfamiliar with her book, regarding Enron's executive leadership, the following analogy may fall on deaf ears. These actions represent an online protest meant to drastically reduce website traffic.

Google To Acquire Twitter?

July 4, 2015

Every so often, Wall Street financial firms and investment banks blindly announce acquisition rumors as if they are facts. This mainly occurs in the tech and biotech sectors, where M&A rumors run amuck. And while these claims are often unfounded, investors nonetheless pile into the alleged "buyer" and "seller" companies.

Chinese Hackers Boost Cyber Security Stocks

June 19, 2015

As the tech-driven Nasdaq continues its strong 2015 run, already up nearly 9% YTD, one particular sector continues to make headlines for its huge gains: cyber security. Thanks to newsworthy security breaches of celebrities (Kate Upton), corporations, and most recently, the U.S. government, cyber security stocks are on a momentous rise.

Profitless Snapchat To IPO

June 2, 2015

Snapchat, one of tech's most popular and fastest growing social media applications is planning to follow in the footsteps of its successful predecessors. Similar to how Mark Zuckerberg oversaw Facebook's (FB) IPO, Snapchat Co-Founder & CEO Evan Spiegel recently stated that Snapchat “need(s) to IPO." After releasing this juicy news, Spiegel later declared that Snapchat had also formed a strategic plan for doing so.
